General Services Administration: St. Elizabeths Site Utilities and Security Perimeter

Project Overview

The St. Elizabeths contract was divided into two main projects – the security perimeter and the site utilities.

Details

The perimeter security project comprised 5.6 miles of perimeter fencing, gatehouses, a visitor center, pumping station and the renovation of a historic gatehouse. The Ennis Electric team installed power, security systems and lighting adjacent to and on the fencing.

The site utilities project provided the underground infrastructure for the entire campus. Ennis Electric self-performed the installation of approximately 6,000 feet of concrete encased electrical and communications duct banks along with 36 manholes.

Concurrent with our work was the underground mechanical infrastructure construction which necessitated careful coordination with other trades as well as coordination with existing and new buildings.
